Bristol, United Kingdom (December 12th, 2014) – Today Tundra Core Studios released ‘Heads Up’ – a native BlackBerry 10 utility application that takes advantage of your device’s rear camera and provides a text area to allow you to type without the worry of walking into someone! With deep integration to the BlackBerry 10 framework, you can simply type your message and then share it to a variety of social networking accounts (including BBM, Facebook, Twitter and many more!).
The native application is great for users who are always on-the-go as with the integration into the BlackBerry 10 Share Framework as well as the options to import and export text to a file and the ability to copy text directly to the BlackBerry 10 Clipboard – makes creating, editing and opening documents, on-the-go, a breeze.
Within the first iteration of Heads Up, there are quite a few features to take advantage of; these include:
- Export text from the app to a file
- Import text into the app from a file
- Integration to the BlackBerry 10 Invocation Framework (invoke Heads Up from within other applications that offer the ability to share text)
- Integration to the BlackBerry 10 Share Framework (share text from the app to a variety of social network)
- Plenty of customization options to personalize your experience with Heads Up
More features will follow in later editions of Heads Up and if there’s a feature you would like to see added: be sure to reach out to Tundra Core Studios through one of their social networking accounts.
Heads Up is available for all BlackBerry 10 devices and is available to download on the BlackBerry® World™ storefront for £0.75:
